Hi Allen,
I have office 365 and when I go to open file section it only requires a single click, not double-click as you suggest to open the Excel file.
Am I missing something here?
So basically I can only open one workbook at a time using your suggested method.

This use to work great in Excel 2010. If I selected four or five files, they would be opened and listed across the taskbar in alphabetical order. In Excel 2016, they aren't opened in alphabetical order. Doesn't matter what order I select the files. How do I get this to work in the rational manner of opening the files and listing them alphabetically?
Got a version of Excel that uses the menu interface (Excel 97, Excel 2000, Excel 2002, or Excel 2003)? This site is for you! If you use a later version of Excel, visit our ExcelTips site focusing on the ribbon interface.
