Got a version of Excel that uses the menu interface (Excel 97, Excel 2000, Excel 2002, or Excel 2003)? This site is for you! If you use a later version of Excel, visit our ExcelTips site focusing on the ribbon interface.
You've now completed one step in the subscription process. Your name has been added to our subscription list, but you need to now verify that you really want to receive ExcelTips.
In the next few minutes you will receive an e-mail from ExcelTips. That e-mail message contains a confirmation link. You must click the link to confirm your subscription. If you do not confirm the subscription by clicking on the link, then you won't receive ExcelTips because your subscription process won't be complete.
Keep an eye out for that e-mail! Your future ExcelTips are only a click away.
NOTE! If you don't get the e-mail within the next five minutes, it means that you either didn't enter the proper e-mail address, or the confirmation e-mail was swallowed by your spam filters. Check your incoming spam folder to make sure the message didn't end up there.
If your spam filter is a challenge/response system (one where a human needs to respond before you get the e-mail), chances are you'll never get it because you've asked a machine to send you the confirmation request; no human will ever see it.

ExcelTips covers versions of Excel that use the menu interface—97 through 2003. If you are using a newer version of Excel that uses the ribbon interface (introduced with Excel 2007) or are migrating to such a version of Excel in the future, you may be interested in subscribing to tips from our site that covers only the newer versions of Excel.
