Printing a Range of Pages

Summary: It is easy for a worksheet to get so large that a printout requires multiple pages. If you don't want to print all those pages, you can specify exactly which pages you do want to print by adjusting the controls in the Print dialog box. (This tip works with Microsoft Excel 97, Excel 2000, Excel 2002, Excel 2003, and Excel 2007.)

Excel gives you complete control over how it prints your worksheets. If desired, you can print a specific range of worksheet pages. To print a range of pages, follow these steps:

Choose Print from the File menu. Excel displays the Print dialog box. (Click here to see a related figure.)
In the Print Range area, click the Pages radio button.
Using the From and To controls, indicate the starting and ending page numbers you want.
Click on OK.
